Welcome to Calvary
From Our Pastor
Calvary Chapel Marysville has been a bible-teaching church in Marysville Washington since 1997. We relaunched in the summer of 2016 with a faithful group of people who love God and are excited to reach our community. We are dedicated to our core values of being Christ centered, focused on the next generation, outreach in our community, and loving one another as family. I am honored to serve this community as the pastor, and I look forward to meeting you soon.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Where do I park? We’re so glad you’re visiting! You can park in our lot, or when it’s full, there’s additional parking available adjacent to our building in the Park 'n Ride at the corner of Cedar and Grove.
What happens when I arrive? As you walk up to our building, you’ll be greeted by friendly greeters who will welcome you with a smile and hand you a bulletin. Inside, there is always fresh and free coffee and tea waiting for you. If the Way Cup in open, enjoy a free espresso for first time visitors.
What is family worship like? Our service begins at 10:00 AM with a family worship time, where we sing songs that glorify Jesus. We love having kids sing along with us, so bring your kids with you into worship! Don’t worry if your child is a bit fussy; we value families singing together with their kids! Family worship lasts about 20-25 minutes.Once we are done, we take a 5ish-minute break to greet one another and give parents time to check their kids into classes. Grab some coffee, say hello to someone new, and get ready for the next part of the service.
What children’s classes are available?Parents can sign their kids into classes from nursery to 5th grade on a Sunday morning. Nursery and toddlers classrooms are downstairs, and kindergarten, 1st - 2nd grade and 3rd - 5th grade classrooms are upstairs.
What is the teaching like at Calvary? Our main teaching time is a 45-50 minute Bible study. Joel Belcher, our lead pastor, teaches verse by verse, chapter by chapter, through a book of the Bible. Occasionally, other men in the church teach as well. We usually end our service around 11:30 by singing a concluding song.
What happens after the service? After picking up your kids, we would love for you to stick around! The lobby often has snacks and food, and we invite you hang around and meet someone new. Our church is very friendly, and we hope you feel welcome and accepted.
We look forward to meeting you!
