With the full support of our leadership board I made the decision to suspend all physical gatherings at our church building until further notice starting immediately; including Sunday services, connect groups, youth groups, women's groups and men's groups. We will be live streaming here
Sunday at 10 am.
God has presented us with an opportunity to redefine what it means to BE the church during this time. The church is not something that can be canceled or suspended. The church is simply those who trust in Jesus and live in obedience to Him. No one or nothing can stop God’s people from being the church. Throughout history Christians have always been at the forefront of taking care of the sick and vulnerable during plagues and other crises, and we too have the opportunity to respond during this crisis in similar ways. While being cautious and wise, we must also be faithful to continue to BE the church and do the things God has called us to.
We have recently started a food and grocery ministry in order to help families in need. We have a food bank in our church lobby, and we also can purchase and deliver groceries free of charge to anyone. If you are in need or know of someone who is, please text 206-383-7787. I anticipate that this will be a vital ministry in the coming days. Please continue to pray that Jesus will be glorified through all of this.
Let’s be safe during this time. Let’s be mindful of the elderly and the vulnerable. Let's also make a point to reach out, love people, share food and supplies and BE the church. As Christians, this is our time to shine. I love you all and I’m praying for you all. God bless
